Death is a fact of nature, as much a part of life as other topics that adults find so much easier to discuss with children. And yet, adults tend to hide death from children or disguise it, probably to protect them from negative experiences, despite the fact that psychologists are increasingly critical of this approach.
We need to talk to children about death, because at some point in their lives they will experience loss, on different scales, and it can happen at any age. Moreover, we need to tell them the truth, but in terms that they can comprehend.
This book enables us to discuss death with children and to explain, in a natural way, that all living things follow the cycle of life.
