This book of Editorial Universidad de Granada includes papers presented at the Workshop on "New Trends on Intelligent Systems and Soft Computing" held at the University of Granada, Department of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, Spain, from 7-8 February 2008.
The main motivation for this international workshop is to bring together significant scientists in the fields of Soft Computing and Intelligent Systems and student of our PhD Master Program.
Every year, top scientists present their last advances in their research to our students who, in turn, present their first research works used to obtain the master degree in our program. This year, the international workshop provived some excellent outcomes and results. This book contains a selected collection of these papers.
