Oliver Owl and the Case of the Riddling Robber is about the adventures of Oliver, a very astute owl-detective, who sets out to look for pictures by the painter Joan Miró which have been stolen from the Miró Foundation in Barcelona. It?s a story which encourages an active love of animals, especially those in danger of extinction. But it is also a tale about the artistic imagination, and the magic humanity of a great artist who was many years ahead of his time in recognising the need to listen to those who are different. Roser Capdevila?s fabulous watercolor illustrations capture the magic of this story by Josep-Francesc Delgado.
